Privacy policy

Izračunaj.ba is built to collect as little data as possible: there are no user accounts, no forms asking for personal data and no server-side database. This page explains exactly what happens with data while you use the site.
Who we are and how to reach us

What we process (and what we don't)
The site has no registration, no login and no form that would send your data to our server. Everything you type into a calculator (amounts, salaries, dates...) is processed exclusively in your browser — that data is never sent to us, and we neither see nor store it.
When you click a share button, the values you entered are encoded into the link (e.g. /en/math/percentage?x=17&y=850) so the person you send it to sees the same calculation. This happens only when you yourself choose to share — the link's content goes to the person you send it to, not to us.
Like any web server, the hosting the site runs on keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, request time, requested page) for security and stability. We do not use those logs to profile users.
Third parties
Google AdSense: Google's ad script is loaded on every page. Once ads are active, Google as a third party may set cookies and process data such as your IP address and browser identifiers to serve and measure ads. Personalized ads are shown only with your consent, collected via Google's certified privacy message (details on the Cookies page). Exchange rates: when you use the currency converter, your browser fetches current rates directly from the service open.er-api.com. During that request the service — like any server on the internet — technically sees your browser's IP address. The request is made only when you open the currency converter, and the fetched rates are cached temporarily in your browser (see the Cookies page).
Google Analytics (GA4) is currently NOT in use. If analytics is added in the future, it will be consent-gated and listed on this page before activation.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no cookies — it only uses your browser's localStorage for two conveniences (theme choice and a temporary exchange-rate cache). The full list, with durations and deletion instructions, is on the Cookies page.
Your rights and withdrawing consent
You have the right to access, correct and delete data relating to you, and the right to withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time. Since we do not store your personal data ourselves, requests concerning advertising cookies are handled most effectively through Google's consent message or by deleting cookies in your browser (instructions on the Cookies page). For anything else, write to marketing@izracunaj.ba.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever the way the site works changes (e.g. introducing analytics or a new external service). The date of the last change is always shown at the top of the page.
