Izračunaj.ba is a free online calculator portal for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. Percentages, loans, VAT, gross-to-net salary, fuel consumption, floor area, dates and work tenure — all in one place, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
What Izračunaj.ba is
Most everyday calculations — how much 17% VAT is, what a loan installment comes to, what the net salary is from a gross amount — require either a formula we no longer remember or a tool that is cluttered with ads and built for a different market. Izračunaj.ba solves exactly that: fast calculators with dedicated editions for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia — each edition with its own currency and terminology (this English edition follows the Bosnian market: KM as the currency, 17% VAT, local salary rules per entity) — with the formula explained below every calculator.
The site is completely free, requires no registration and works just as well on a phone as on a desktop. Alongside the three market editions, content is also available in English.
Who is behind the site
Izračunaj.ba was created and is maintained by Allen Al-Shamali, a web designer. The same author is credited in the footer of every page.
The site is not affiliated with any bank, tax authority or government institution. It is an independent project whose goal is to make practical calculations available to everyone.
Our mission
Three things matter most to us: accuracy, speed and transparency. Every calculator shows the formula it uses, so you can always verify the result by hand. Tax and legal rates (for example in the salary calculator) come exclusively from official sources, and each one is published with its source and verification date.
The site is designed mobile-first: everything works without horizontal scrolling even on the smallest screens, because we know these calculations are most often done from a phone — in a shop, at the bank, on a construction site.
